Albany County Government employs approximately 130 full-time and part-time employees in 20 departments.


Human Resources provides services in the following areas:

  • Benefits - insurance and retirement, FMLA, ADA and Workers’ Compensation
  • Employee Relations - employee handbook, employee assistance program, evaluations and policies, and procedures.
  • Employment - job opportunities, I9s and job summaries
  • Training and Professional Development - training offered by HR and LGLP
